Is your kitchen stock getting low like mine? Make these quick and easy protein energy balls out of baking ingredients in your home!
Since it's quarantine 2020, my kitchen is getting pretty low. The only thing I have left is flour, baking soda, oats, some honey that is taking forever to get rid of, etc. Thank god for Google and the tons of homemade recipes it has. Here's a delicious healthy recipe that's good for breakfast or daytime snack.
PROTEIN ENERGY BALLS
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 C Rolled oats
1 SCP Vanilla Protein Powder
3 TBS Honey
2 TBS Semi-sweet mini chocolate chips
2 TBS Flaxseed (my personal favorite micro-addition)
2 TBS Peanut Butter Powder
----- Water or Unsweetened Almond Milk (your choice)
DIRECTIONS
1. Mix everything besides the water/milk in a bowl
2. Slowly add water/milk until it gets sticky enough to roll
3. Roll into 8-10 balls
4. Place on a cookie sheet (wax paper or not- I prefer the paper for less mess)
5. Store in a fridge for 30 minutes
6. EAT!
There you have it! Five simple steps to making a delicious and HEALTHY snack. Enjoy!
